History: The Hungarian Company established a factory in England in 1928. There were some 43 different types available by 1932. Specialising in equivalents of the USA range it was ahead of Brimar and other UK companies.

measuring instrument to measure resonant frequency of radio frequency circuits. It measures the amount of absorption of a high frequency inductively coupled magnetic field by nearby objects. It is an oscillator whose amplitude changes when near a resonant circuit which is tuned to the frequency the oscillator generates. At the heart of the instrument is a tunable LC circuit with a coil that serves as a loose inductive coupling to the measured LC resonant circuit. Resonance is indicated by a dip in the meter indicator on the device, usually based on a microammeter.
  Usually measure the properties of resonant circuits, filters, and antennas.

I would like  to thank Mr. Fred Osterman N8EKU for his gentle kindness to include me among the contributors, in his new edition of shortwave Receivers. In the 800 page Collection has 1700 Shortwave Communications Receivers manufactured, from 370 Manufactures, in 40 countries, from 1942 - 2013.

my contribution to this book is about giving  data and photo  about, maybe one of the bigger,  Receiver ever  made by RCA .
